A comprehensive, authoritative, scholarly survey of recent advances in any area of Life Sciences Industry as a continuous manuscript with suitable sub headings will be considered under this category. It can range from 1000 to 1500 words. It should be broadly applicable to varied Life Sciences sub-sectors. A compilation of available data with author’s input into the article is encouraged. The author should be an active professional in any area related to the life Sciences Industry. Tables and Figures must have relevant legends and must be self-explanatory.
Tutorial:
This feature intends to be a forum for making available to readers, the salient available options and technology from an applicatory angle. Manuscripts under this category should be concise and with a word limit of 1000 to 1200 words; usually from an expert in any of the thrust areas of Life Sciences Industry. Figures and Tables are to be limited to highlight the most relevant details.
Update:
This feature is similar to the Tutorials, but might be restricted to any single, focused current event or product that will augment the already available data or information. Usually service, product and process providers and suppliers are encouraged to utilize this feature.

This feature presents short communications or manuscripts giving the highlights of recent happenings of general interest to the reader; who is an active participant in the Life Sciences Industry.
Commentary:
The contributions in this category are expected to provide critical information on any broad areas of Life Sciences Industry with a specific focus on the Lifesciences thrust areas. This section can showcase novel developments and even suggestions for the advancement of the Life Sciences Industry. The manuscript should be concise and with an upper word limit of 1200 words with suitable evidence (for e.g., as figures) in a manner that is easy to understand and information usefulness to readers with similar areas of interest

This feature of Lifescines will have information on the new HR additions and companies are welcome to send the details of the same along with relevant photographs; thus utilizing LSIN as a forum to share new additions to their company profile to rest of the fraternity.

This feature is for the forthcoming events like seminars, conferences, exhibitions etc.
Letter to the Editor:
Readers and other contributors to the magazine are encouraged to send in their feedback or their view on either the previous published issue of the magazine or on a current topic of interest to a general reader. Select such communications will be published in the forthcoming issues based on an editorial review and decision
General
Figures: All illustrations, whether diagrams or photographs, are referred to as Figures. Photos or drawings must have a good contrast of dark and light. Legends of figures should be brief, but complete and self- explanatory so that the reader can easily understand the results presented. Figures may be submitted as JPEG format in separate pages duly numbered with appropriate legend.
Tables: Each table must be given on a separate page duly numbered with a brief but complete and self-explanatory caption so that the reader can easily understand the results presented.
Conclusion: A suitable conclusion may be added specifying the inferences drawn from the manuscript and its significance along with future implications for the Life Sciences Industry.
Acknowledgements: If necessary, a brief Acknowledgements section may be included.
